Great review by “The Club with No Name” Bookgroup, Brighton

The strong character depiction and interesting parallel storyline between past and future kept us all gripped.  We especially enjoyed the really vivid description of the relationship between Jess and Ellie. The story would be a super introduction to life on the home front, during the First World War, particularly for a teenage audiene.  However, it is equally appealing to other ages – a crossover novel?
